Hello, I am Anna. My passion (sounds corny, but its true!) is to make people happier and healthier by introducing them to fitness, yoga and healthy nutrition. I have been practicing yoga for 7 years and now am Qualified Yoga Alliance Teacher RYT200 as well as hold a full diploma in Personal Training,
A bit more about me…
I am a British/Russian and have lived almost equal amounts of my life now in both the countries, before moving to Paris 2 year ago. I have a background in corporate career, but I packed it in and quit my job to become a health and fitness professional 3 years ago when I qualified as a yoga teacher as well as a personal trainer and nutrition consultant. Aside of my work-related passions, I love photography and design. I love trying to understand contemporary art, and spotting street art. I also love being outdoors, mountains, sea, forests, – all give me great pleasure to explore, especially when I’m doing something active with a great group of friends.
I Have been into sports and fitness from a young age. Growing up in a very sporty family (my dad is ex-elite decathlete, and my mum owns and runs a successful fitness centre for over 20 years.) I always got involved in and loved everything my parents did, and after getting a degree in Business Management in the UK and a brief stint in the corporate world I realised that my true professional calling was my lifelong passion for sports and fitness. I then quit my job and re-trained as a Personal Trainer, nutrition consultant, aqua-fitness instructor and then went to India where I trained to become a yoga teacher and reiki healer. After coming back from India I moved to France where I saw a need for affordable health and wellbeing and shortly after founded Affordable Yoga, where I now work full time.
There has been tremendous support and interest in this initiative so I have lots of exciting plans of expansion into different locations and adding new exciting services. If there isn’t something yet on offer that completely suits your needs in terms of time and location, please follow keep checking back for news!
The format for Benjamin’s classes has been well-described as ‘Rainbow Yoga’, meaning that the seven Chakra energy centers within each of our bodies are the foundation and focus of his series. These resonating energetic vortexes are paired with appropriate traditional yoga postures to awaken and purify the physical as well as energy bodies. The seven Elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Sound, Light and Thought are also incorporated for a joyful time of self-healing, counterbalance, and exploration of the infinite Here and Now.
While it may sound different from the standard class structure, students find Benjamin’s offering as a delightful addition to their regular yoga practice and an excellent opportunity to expand their daily routine.
For more information on Benjamin's additional activities, check out his MeetUp group: http://www.meetup.com/Namaste-Adventures/
Eliza moved to Paris in 2009 to further her training as an actress specializing in clown, mime, acrobatics and physical theatre.
Eliza grew up in Melbourne, Australia surfing, sailing, running, swimming, and all-round being outdoors. As a youth she competed as a gymnast in Victoria and afterwards moved towards soccer, hockey and netball. Realizing to her dismay that ball sports were not her forte, she was drawn to long distance running, athletics and rowing.
It was the boot camp style fitness training that she received that she loved the most. She loves to motivate people to achieve their goals, improve their well being and overall fitness and health. She is passionate about fitness and health, currently also training as a drama therapist, a vegetarian herself, and is keen to share this passion with others through her boot camp classes!
Students can expect a group training program that focuses on a full body work out including cardio and strength training. The group atmosphere will accomodate those who need that extra motivation to work out, complimented with the great social aspect.
An actress to the core, you can be sure that Eliza’s classes will be well animated!

In the past few years, breath work and mantra have eased themselves into her practice, as well as self massage and gratitude.
In each class Louise focuses on alignment, grounding and expanding. Falling over, cracking joints and laughter are all welcome in her classes which begin with intention and finish in gratitude.

She loves the practice of yoga simply because you can start wherever you are. It does not matter what injuries one has, how much one can bring hands to touch the toes or how many handstands one can do in a minute. As long as you want to, you can, but with adequate lessons and attention. With 6 years of yoga teaching and 11 years of mat practice, she is extremely humbled to guide yogis in Paris through the knowledge she has received from her teachers over the years.
Her influence includes teachings from the Anusara method, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Jivamukti and AcroYoga.

Nadine, originally from Montpellier in the South of France, has been living in Paris for 20 years. Passionate about languages and traveling, she has had the chance to visit, live, and work in several different countries.
Always curious about discovering and experiencing the different forms of movement, she has practiced Ballet, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Flamenco as well as Kung Fu and Capoeira. To Nadine, our bodies are extraordinary tools for expression, and sometimes it just takes some time and practice to find our own.
By chance, she discovered Nia through a workshop in 2012 and she instantly loved it! Within one single Nia class, one can dance, practice martial arts, have fun, express oneself in a safe and non-judgmental environment, and get a taste of Yoga and relaxation. So, in 2015, she earned her White Belt to be able to teach, and she started the extraordinary adventure of sharing Nia with students.
What does she like most when teaching Nia? To communicate her joy of dancing to the students, to provide them with the freedom of moving in their own ways, and to see the smiles lighting up their faces.
Nadine is currently not teaching any regular classes with us.

"Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured" B.K.S Iyengar.
Sade is currently not teaching any regular classes with us.
She started practising Sivananda Yoga with her mother when she was 15, and over the years has experimented with many types of Yoga, including Ashtanga, Hatha, Jivamukti, Yin, and Restorative.
She completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow at Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, India. She has long been drawn towards Eastern philosophy, and is as concerned with the spiritual elements and benefits of yoga as the physical.
Outside of class, Alice is a writer and music journalist, specialising in interviews with hip-hop artists. Music is an integral part of her life, believing that listening to music has the potential to be a sublimely spiritual experience. She simply loves to combine yoga practice with the sonic vibrations that too stir her soul.
In her Vinyasa Flow classes you can expect to move, stretch, and sweat through dynamic sequences, with an emphasis on syncopating the breath to movement. And, of course, to hear lovingly curated playlists of underground and old school hip-hop.
Alice does not currently teach any regular classes with us.

Hanna does not currently teach any regular classes with us.
University with a degree in Creative Writing and Literature. She pursued her passion for literature by working on a fiction book, spending too much time at Shakespeare & Co, and writing articles.
From Paris she was able to explore her love of travel, having now
visited countries in Europe, Africa, and a bit of the Middle East. Her enthusiasm for yoga began as a freshman in a Connecticut boarding school, and followed her to New
York City where she lived for five years.
In February 2017 she had the opportunity toparticipate in a 200 hour ashtanga vinyasa teacher training course in Goa, India with
Kranti Yoga. What began as an alternative to a high school sports requirement has become for Ellen an integral part of maintaining a healthy body, mind, and soul. In New York
City yoga was the perfect reprieve from the chaotic and oftentimes toxic metropolitan life, and in Paris it has provided her with an amazing community and a platform to build
strength and independence.
In an effort to combine a love of art with yoga, Ellen’s classes are typically
centered around a quote from poetry, literature, an artist, etc, and aim to follow a related theme throughout. Each class is intended to be as equally beneficial for the mind and soul as it is for the body. She enjoys variation, learning / incorporating new postures,
and lots of movement following breath. She’s happy to grab a coffee after class and enjoy conversation about yoga, literature, art, travel, history, etc
“I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.” - Helena Bonham Carter
She has been practicing on and off since she was 12, doing sun salutations to her mom's Gaiam VHS tapes. She graduated from Vinyasa Yoga to Bikram, before finally falling in love with Ashtanga.
Yoga, to Micheline, is a practice in quieting the mind, being present, and listening. Ashtanga is her favored style because she believes it is especially conducive to being a moving meditation. It is always the same series of poses, and the practice changes from day to day based on the body (and mindset) of the practitioner. Her classes are fast-paced and challenging, but accessible to beginners that are ready to push themselves.
Micheline received her 200-hr teacher training from AV108 Yoga School in the Philippines and has studied Children's and Community Yoga with Rainbow Kids Yoga.
~~ Ashtanga is the original Power Vinyasa class: a very active moving meditation with many opportunities to both strengthen and energize the body. This Ashtanga Basics class introduces beginners to the primary series of this practice. Having the same sequence each time gives room for keeping the mind clear and focused, allowing students to observe how the body continues to change and evolve. Just be ready for a challenging practice that requires a humble and non-competitive outlook.
I teach the Outdoor Bootcamps in the Park as I love being in the nature, getting your heart rate up, working your body to its maximum limit to achieve your goals.

Look forward to seeing you all in the park!
Hayley first came to Paris to work as a professional dancer, and fell in love with the city and its openness to the artistic side of life. Her career as a professional dancer has now spanned 12 years, and she feels fortunate to have worked internationally for over a decade.
Throughout her career as a dancer, Hayley has always found solace in yoga practice; she has always utilised yoga as a means of escaping the demands of her fast-paced profession. The consistently strenuous nature of her work, however, concluded in many injuries. This marked a significant turning point for Hayley and, most importantly, her relationship with yoga. She started using the postures in asana as a way to rehabilitate and grew to appreciate the healing properties of yoga. Becoming increasingly devoted, Hayley’s knowledge of the philosophy behind yoga developed and it became abundantly clear to her that she needed more than just physical fitness to feel truly happy. Through yoga, Hayley began to nurture her mind and spirit, as well as her body. Yoga has brought Hayley a sense of contentment and joy; it makes her feel healthier – both physically and mentally.
In Hayley’s classes, she combines her extensive knowledge of dance and yoga, ensuring her students’ movements are precise, whilst utilising a range of breathing techniques to achieve calmness. Hayley’s loving and thoughtful personality shines through during each of her classes, and she always fosters a relaxed, non-judgemental environment. She strives to ensure her students feel free to push themselves, whist maintaining focus on the mind. Through promoting harmony between the body, mind and spirit, Hayley is extremely committed to helping others to thrive. She endeavours to lead a practice that is challenging and focused; however, her adaptability means that she can tailor her practice to suit her students’ needs and abilities. It is of upmost importance to Hayley that yoga is accessible.
Having experienced first-hand the positive impact that yoga can have on a person’s wellbeing, Hayley is incredibly passionate about the everlasting benefits of yoga, and she is committed to bringing yoga to everyone.
