Colleen Keith-Besnard

Colleen comes to Paris from Portland, Oregon. She married a wonderful man from Paris and is living her dream teaching yoga and building a career in the city of lights, love, and dreams!

Colleen is finding a new rhythm in Paris and enjoys learning her way around the city by jogging. "It's the best way to learn my new home and all of the hidden shops, art and treasures that the typical guides don't mention."
Colleen received her 200 hour Teacher Training through CorePower Yoga in Portland, OR. "I wanted to take my training from my favorite studio before moving to Paris. Walking in to this studio 15 years ago changed my opinion about yoga and has inspired me to pass it on."
 
Colleen teaches a range of yoga classes, but she truly enjoys the energy of the Power Vinyasa Flow.  Colleen's personal style may not be your first image as a "typical yoga teacher". Her Vinyasa Flow classes are very active and dynamic and are geared towards the fitness side of the spectrum. "I want to get you moving and sweating and get you to a point where you feel cleansed and strong and empowered realizing that you are stronger than you realize.  We all are. In my classes you will work hard, and you will feel accomplished and appreciated."

CLASS DESCRIPTION
One hour Hatha/Vinyasa yoga class to strengthen, revitalise and energise your body. Relaxation exercises to de-stress your mind.
DIRECTIONS
As our indoor locations are closed during summer vacation, we will be practicing outside at Park Andre Citroen. The meeting point is in the middle of the park next to the Ballon Generali- a big balloon attached to a rope which is very easy to spot.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds back onto credit cards will only be given in very special and specific circumstances and/or if the reason for the refund is caused by Affordable Yoga. In other circumstances where a refund is requested, it can be given in the form of class credit into your online account.
You may cancel your reservation up until 60 minutes before the class and receive credit back into your account to use later.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
-Mat or towel (there are no mats available to borrow in the spaces)
-Water Bottle (recommended)
-Optional - Yoga props - blocks, straps, cushions, etc

Mats can be delivered to our classes in the locations in 75001 (St. Roch) and 75009 (Studio Bleu). Once ordered, email anna@affordableyogafitness.com, and let us know during which class and at which location you would like to pick up your mat. Please bring your receipt to the class.
In some cases a few days notice may be needed to make sure the mat is at the class, so we appreciate your patience if and when this happens.
WHAT TO WEAR
-Comfortable clothes that don't restrict movement
-This class is generally practiced barefoot
*Showers and designated changing facilities available only at Studio Bleu in 75009; all other indoor locations have restroom facilities available for changing. Otutdoor bootcamp classes in the parks do not have changing facilities.
CLASS LEVEL
Unless specified in class title, classes are adapted to all levels from beginner to intermediate. All are welcome to join!
LANGUAGES
If English is not your first language, explanations in French will be possible as well.

Although yoga has many very beneficial health effects, please consult a doctor if you have any personal concerns about practicing yoga.
